“Precise” Tightens COVID-19 Measures to the Maximum Level

The Power Distribution and Energy Management business group under Precise Corporation Public Company Limited (PRECISE), a leader in comprehensive electricity and energy development solutions, has implemented heightened measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the increasing spread of the virus, PRECISE has intensified its guidelines to protect employees and surrounding communities, aiming to minimize the risk of transmission.

Mr. Witoon Jiamjitttrong, Chairman of Precise Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (PEM), stated that PRECISE has prepared a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure seamless operations during the pandemic. The company’s goal is to maintain uninterrupted business processes, including procurement and production, thereby ensuring that all products and services remain available to customers and stakeholders while prioritizing safety.

Additionally, the company aims to raise awareness about the current situation and educate the community on COVID-19 prevention measures. Precautions include the use of face masks, utilizing separate utensils during meals, washing hands frequently or using alcohol gel after touching surfaces, avoiding touching the face, refraining from international travel, practicing self-isolation at home, and maintaining social distancing.

Thus, PRECISE has implemented the strictest measures for surveillance, prevention, and control to prevent the potential spread among employees and surrounding communities, as follows:

Screening visitors and all employees entering the workplace with effective temperature scanning devices. If a body temperature higher than 37.5°C is detected, entry to the company area is strictly prohibited, and such individuals will be isolated in a designated area for further screening.

Providing and distributing equipment to limit and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, such as face masks, hand soap, and alcohol gel, to all staff and individuals entering the company premises, with the requirement to wear face masks at all times during work.

If any personnel are found to be ill, coughing, or feverish, they are to cease work immediately. Travel to any high-risk countries is prohibited, and returning from or transiting through such areas will result in a ban from company premises until full recovery is confirmed by medical examination.

Educating all visitors, staff, and nearby communities through coordination with the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, by disseminating information about the COVID-19 virus and prevention methods via all communication channels, including signage at building entrances, and bulletin boards, to ensure proper self-care.

Strictly maintaining cleanliness by increasing the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces in common areas, such as door handles and elevator buttons, every two hours.
